Adapted from James S.A. Corey’s best-selling novels, premiered on Syfy (2015) and continued on Amazon Prime Video after a fan-led #SaveTheExpanse campaign. Concluded in 2022 with six seasons, earning a 95-100% Rotten Tomatoes score for seasons 4-6 and an IMDb rating of 8.5. NPR called it “the best sci-fi series of the decade.” Expanded into comics, a Telltale game (2023), and continued novel interest.
